Spotify announced on Tuesday, August 7th that its digital music service is now available to Kindle Fire users through the Amazon app service. This anticipated announcement has many Fire users excited about the possibility of being able to listen to music on their device via Spotify . Although the app has been available on mobile apps for other devices like iPhone and iPad ; expanding their reach  Feuershow Stuttgart  to the Kindle Fire shows their interest in further expanding their mobile marketing presence.

Great news for those who like to listen to their music on the go! Just visit the Amazon App Store for Android and take advantage of the free Kindle Fire apps. Simply select the songs you love from over a million tracks and start listening. Consumers can create their own playlists and listen to them for free, or upgrade to the premium service through Kindle Fire apps for a small fee.

A symbolic fire

Some incidents have a symbolic meaning. A recent example, which may not be perceived as such, is the destruction of the university’s architecture faculty in Delft.

“A short circuit in a coffee maker is believed to have been the cause of the fire that swept through Delft University’s architecture department on Tuesday, destroying much of the 14-story building .” (1)

Although the true cause has not yet been clarified, a short circuit in a coffee machine has symbolic meaning. Coffee machines are also “designed” like architecture, for which it (design) is the most important element. If the fire is attributed to a short circuit , the design of the coffee machine has failed. Whatever happens to the machine, a fuse or other safety element should prevent it from starting a fire.

But it’s not just the coffee maker. It’s also about maintenance. Architects don’t often care about maintenance. It’s not “her business”. Architecture is about building, about the new, about innovation and style. Everything but maintenance.

The recent fire demonstrates that some fundamental engineering feats are part of architecture. Added to this is the security element of a building. In addition to art, everything in architecture revolves around safe technical constructions. This includes fire protection.
